Teen Boy Critical In Newark Shooting

A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in Newark Sunday, May 21, authorities said.

The incident happened just after 5:22 p.m., on the 100 block of Boyd Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.

The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and is reportedly in critical condition. The incident remains under investigation.
